Position Overview:

The Dispute Resolution Specialist will play a crucial role in managing new arbitration cases and collecting necessary information and evidence to support resolution efforts for both buyers and sellers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Thoroughly document customer claims and complaints.
  2. Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and customer service.
  3. Keep customers informed about the status and timeline of arbitration processes.
  4. Coordinate vehicle inspections and diagnostics based on customer complaints and obtain additional opinions as needed.
  5. Collect all pertinent information required to facilitate negotiations and resolutions between buyers and sellers.
  6. Understand and communicate arbitration policies, advising customers on these policies and the arbitration process.
  7. Stay informed about relevant legislation regarding the sale of goods and motor vehicle dealer regulations across various provinces.
  8. Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all customer claims, complaints, and resolution details.
  9. Work in tandem with the Arbitration Specialist and sales team to ensure effective communication and customer service.
  10. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  2. Experience in dispute resolution or within the automotive, mechanical, or body shop sectors; auto auction experience is a plus.
  3. Familiarity with automobile brands, equipment, mechanics, and structures is preferred.
  4. Demonstrated expertise in dispute resolution.
  5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  6. Strong report writing and composition abilities are required.
  7. Proficient in Google applications, including Sheets, Docs, and Gmail.
  8. Strong organizational and management skills.
  9. Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
  10. Fluency in French is an asset, though not mandatory for this role.
