At LOVELY RENOVATION TORONTO, we are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team. As a Floor Covering Specialist, you will be responsible for installing various types of floor coverings, including carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring that our clients receive high-quality installations that meet their needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to be covered
  • Measure, cut, and fasten underlay and underpadding
  • Install carpeting, hardwood, and resilient flooring
  • Inspect and repair damaged floor coverings
  • Prepare floors for installations
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants

As a Floor Covering Specialist, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying work sites, including residential and commercial locations. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team to ensure that projects are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in floor covering installation
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and colour recognition
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
