About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Affinity Food Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our food service operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard.

Inventory Management

Requisition food and kitchen supplies, maintaining accurate records of stock levels and ensuring that all necessary supplies are available when needed.

Staff Supervision and Training

Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, providing guidance and training as needed to ensure that all staff are equipped to perform their duties to a high standard.

Quality Control

Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and taking corrective action as necessary.

Customer Service

Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that all customers receive a high level of service.

Reporting and Record Keeping

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.

Team Leadership

Supervise and check the assembly of trays, ensuring that all food is presented to a high standard.

Work Scheduling

Establish work schedules, ensuring that all staff are aware of their duties and responsibilities.

About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced individual who is able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role

Work Environment

Fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and customer service

Physical Capabilities

Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail

Personal Suitability

Flexibility, team player, and ability to work in a dynamic environment
