About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at AAJ GROUP CANADA INC. as a key member of our operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure that they are equipped to perform their roles safely and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring that their needs are met and that they have a positive experience.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of 3-4 people, and up to 10 people in a fast-paced environment, to achieve high levels of productivity and quality.
  • Work Environment: Work in a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
  • Work Setting: Willing to relocate, and work in a restaurant environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Client focus, team player, dependability, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
