We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Psychologist Assistant to join our team in the Minimum and Medium Security Units. As a Psychologist Assistant, you will play a critical role in supporting the Forensic Psychologist in assessing and managing the risk of individuals in the correctional system.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer and score standardized psychological tests and assessments to evaluate an individual's mental health and risk level.
- Provide detailed written reports of test results and observations to the Forensic Psychologist.
- Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans to address an individual's mental health needs.
- Collaborate with the Forensic Psychologist and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in educational meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
- Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology or a related field.
- Recognized training and/or experience in administering psychological tests and assessments.
- Specialized knowledge of forensic psychology, risk assessment, and management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
