Security Supervisor

Job Summary
Blackbird Security Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Security Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our security team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in security management and excellent communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Arrange for maintenance and repair work to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service
- Be the point of contact for emergency situations and respond promptly to ensure the safety of all individuals
- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to achieve common goals
- Monitor quality and production levels to ensure excellence in all aspects of security
- Prepare and submit progress reports to management, highlighting areas of improvement and success
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Supervise, co-ordinate, and schedule activities of workers to ensure efficient use of resources
- Train staff/workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high level of competence
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure a smooth and efficient operation
Requirements
- Security Guard License
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking
- Ability to work under pressure and make sound decisions in emergency situations
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a security-related role
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
- English as the primary language of communication
