Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain comprehensive records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Showcase new cooking techniques and equipment to kitchen staff.
  • Oversee the activities of specialized chefs, cooks, and kitchen personnel.
  • Develop innovative recipes and culinary presentations.
  • Guide cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of dishes.
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and specialty dishes for events such as banquets.
  • Supervise kitchen staff and ensure smooth operations.
  • Regularly prepare and cook meals for guests, including special requests.
  • Order food and kitchen supplies as needed.
  • Design menus that meet quality standards and cater to diverse dietary needs.
  • Prepare dishes accommodating food allergies or intolerances.
  • Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and safety practices.
Certifications

Possession of a Food Safety Certificate is essential.
