About the Role

Lightspeed is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Account Executive, Outbound to join our dynamic Retail sales team in North America. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for generating pipeline through prospecting, booking meetings, and owning the sales process from initial outreach to demo and close.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and Lead Generation: Utilize a combination of phone and email outreach to generate pipeline and reach out to specific market segments as defined by leadership.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Manage a sales pipeline with multiple prospects utilizing Salesforce, forecasting sales pipeline to leadership, and ensuring monthly KPIs are met.
  • Cold Outreach and Conversion: Work closely with Sales Development Reps to close cold outbound sourced opportunities.
  • Pricing Negotiations: Collaborate with management on pricing negotiations to drive sales growth.
  • Sales Quotas: Achieve and surpass monthly, quarterly, and annual sales quotas.
Requirements
  • Outbound Sales Experience: Proven experience in outbound sales, calling into cold leads, and converting conversations into meetings.
  • Pipeline Forecasting: Experience forecasting a pipeline and meeting daily/weekly/monthly KPIs.
  • Top Performance: A track record of top performance in your previous role.
  • Retail or Hospitality Experience: Experience working in the retail or hospitality industry.
