About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of our retail store at Spicy Fusion. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing staff, achieving sales goals, and ensuring excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage and motivate a team of sales associates to drive sales and customer satisfaction
  2. Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and meet business objectives
  3. Ensure the store meets financial goals through effective inventory management and cost control
  4. Oversee store merchandising and visual standards to create an engaging shopping experience
  5. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to maintain a positive customer experience
  6. Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate goals and expectations, and provide coaching and development opportunities

Requirements

  1. Proven experience in retail management with a focus on sales and customer service, preferably in a fast-paced environment
  2. Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop a team to achieve business objectives
  3. Proficiency in cash handling, payroll, and basic math skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  4. Excellent time management and organizational abilities to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  5. Experience in recruiting, training, and team management, with a focus on building a high-performing team
  6. Ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and suppliers to drive business results
  7. Familiarity with clerical tasks and phone etiquette, with a focus on providing excellent customer service

  • Restaurant experience: 1 year (preferred)
