About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at CITY FURNITURE (DC) LTD. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and manage a team of sales staff, including apprentices, sales assistants, and design team members.
  • Sales Floor Management: Assign sales staff to duties, manage sales floor operations, and ensure that the store is well-organized and visually appealing.
  • Merchandise Management: Order merchandise, manage inventory, and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare regular reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Performance Management: Conduct regular performance reviews and provide feedback to staff to ensure they are meeting their performance goals.
  • Store Operations: Establish work schedules, manage store budgets, and ensure that the store is operating efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
