Position Overview

The Retail Operations Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing daily store activities and ensuring a high standard of customer service. This position requires strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within a retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Delegate tasks to sales associates and monitor their performance.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff to enhance their skills and productivity.
  • Authorize merchandise returns and manage customer service issues.
  • Create and manage employee work schedules to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Engage in direct sales activities and promote store products.
  • Compile and analyze reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and staffing.
  • Address and resolve customer inquiries, complaints, and inventory challenges.
  • Maintain an organized inventory system and oversee stock management.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the sales team.
  • Handle cash management and ensure accurate financial transactions.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Oversee a team of 1 to 2 employees.
