New Pioneer Travel is seeking a motivated and experienced Reservations Supervisor to join our growing team.

As a Reservations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth and efficient operations within our reservations department. You will be responsible for leading and motivating a team of reservation specialists, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor a team of 5-10 reservation specialists, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
  • Operational Excellence: Establish clear work schedules, procedures, and performance standards to ensure efficient and accurate reservation processing.
  • Customer Focus: Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with their travel arrangements, addressing inquiries, and resolving any issues promptly and professionally.
  • Problem Solving & Analysis: Identify and resolve operational challenges, recommend process improvements, and contribute to enhancing overall team productivity.
  • Training & Development: Conduct training sessions for new hires and existing staff on reservation systems, company policies, and best practices.
  • Technical Proficiency: Maintain and troubleshoot computer systems, equipment, and software used in the reservations department.
Qualifications
  • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within a travel agency or similar environment
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in English; fluency in Mandarin is an asset
