As a vital member of the Data & Analytics Department within the eCommerce sector, you will play a crucial role in connecting business strategy with data. Your extensive expertise in Performance Marketing and Data & Analytics, combined with exceptional leadership and communication abilities, will empower you to spearhead the delivery of actionable descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive insights. You will facilitate the transformation of processes and technologies within the Digital division, enabling Aritzia to provide world-class everyday luxury customer experiences. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Lead Data Analyst, your responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the development of Advanced Analytics capabilities to support Aritzia's Digital division, particularly in Digital Paid Media and Performance Marketing.
  • Collaborating with relevant Business Support partners to promote data-driven decision-making aligned with corporate goals.
  • Addressing Advanced Analytics use cases in areas such as incrementality testing, customer lifetime value, attribution modeling, and causal impact analysis.
  • Generating insights to support these use cases, including:
    • Descriptive insights to analyze past events and their causes, creating new metrics, measurement plans, and A/B tests to evaluate the success and opportunities of key initiatives, alongside trend analysis and statistical evaluations.
    • Predictive insights to forecast future events and timelines using advanced analytical techniques like scenario analysis, rule-based modeling, and AI/Machine Learning.
    • Prescriptive insights to recommend optimal actions to influence outcomes, considering all relevant factors and providing actionable recommendations to decision-makers.
  • Maximizing the impact of insights through effective storytelling, influencing stakeholders to take action, and measuring the results of these actions.
  • Providing technical leadership to enhance the analytics capabilities of the team and stakeholders.

QUALIFICATIONS

The ideal Lead Data Analyst will possess:

  • Demonstrated expertise, education, and/or relevant certifications in:
  • Interpreting and analyzing data through advanced statistical methods, utilizing tools such as Google Analytics, SQL, Python/R, BigQuery/BigQuery ML, and Google Co-Lab (Notebooks).
  • A background in Paid Media, Performance Marketing, and/or eCommerce is preferred.
  • Experience in designing and executing geo-experiments to assess the impact of online advertising, including knowledge of matched market tests, holdout groups, and incrementality measurement techniques.
  • Providing mentorship and technical guidance to fellow Data Analysts through training documentation and peer reviews.

The ability to strategically collaborate with cross-functional partners to achieve operational efficiency, continuous growth, and shared business outcomes.

Strong skills in setting clear objectives and advocating for data-informed decisions within eCommerce and Performance Marketing teams.

COMPENSATION PACKAGE

The typical hiring range for this position is $140,000 – 150,000 CAD annually. The final salary may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position may also be eligible for a bonus.
