Position: Client Support Specialist

Reports to: Client Services Supervisor

Department: Logistics Support

Location: Remote

Position Overview:

This role encompasses the receipt, preparation, and dispatch of client samples, along with various administrative responsibilities in support of the Logistics Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome clients warmly and professionally.

• Manage the intake of client samples.

• Repackage samples and coordinate their shipment to designated laboratories.

• Monitor shipment progress and address any issues that arise.

• Collaborate with external partners, including courier services, as necessary.

• Communicate daily sample shipment updates to relevant laboratories.

• Process bottle order requests and oversee their delivery.

• Identify and escalate routine and non-routine issues to the Supervisor.

• Maintain supply inventories effectively.

• Keep the workspace organized, clean, and safe.

• Ensure timely responses to client inquiries and escalate when necessary.

• Strive for overall satisfaction of the regional client base, coordinating with customer service and supervisors as needed.

• Work closely with sales teams to enhance Bureau Veritas's market presence.

• Monitor and calibrate temperature-sensitive equipment.

• Comply with Bureau Veritas's quality assurance protocols and safety regulations.

• Participate in on-call duties as required.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• Experience in a laboratory setting is advantageous.

• Capability to lift items weighing up to 40 lbs.

• Exceptional attention to detail.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

• Ability to work independently while engaging others when necessary.

• Energetic and positive attitude, thriving in a fast-paced environment that requires multitasking and adaptability.

Working Conditions:

• High productivity levels in a fast-paced environment.

• Flexible hours, including potential overtime and shift work.

• Ability to manage changing priorities and tight deadlines.
