Your Role:

As the Graduate Program Administrator within the Department of Physiology, you will be instrumental in supporting our academic community. Your primary responsibilities will include advising students on various academic and financial matters, ensuring they are well-informed about program requirements, procedures, and deadlines. You will also verify course information and facilitate student access to necessary resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to students regarding academic and financial inquiries.
  • Assist in the petition and appeal processes, offering alternative solutions when needed.
  • Evaluate and recommend allocations for award funding.
  • Analyze enrollment data to inform planning and identify the need for additional course sections.
  • Create promotional materials and lead outreach initiatives.
  • Conduct seminars and workshops aimed at student recruitment.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or a combination of relevant experience.
  • A minimum of four years of progressive experience in student admissions or recruitment within a large educational institution.
  • Proven ability to advise prospective students and their families on admission processes.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of graduate functions, including admissions, enrollment, and funding.
  • Experience in promoting programs and delivering presentations to diverse audiences.
  • Strong commitment to equity and inclusion, with experience working with underrepresented groups.
  • Ability to develop effective promotional materials for student recruitment.
  • Experience in assessing award funding allocations.
  • Demonstrated capability in organizing and executing recruitment events.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data visualization tools.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and student information systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to engage a diverse population.
  • Strong public speaking and interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and resourceful.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of accuracy.
  • Strong judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters.

Travel Requirements:
This position may involve occasional travel for recruitment events.
