About the Role:

The University of Toronto is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Graduate Program Administrator. This is a key role that will provide administrative support to the Graduate Program, ensuring the smooth operation of the program and providing excellent service to students, faculty, and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Graduate Program, including coordinating admissions, course scheduling, and graduate student records.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to graduate studies.
  • Provide guidance and support to graduate students on academic matters, including eligibility requirements, procedures, and deadlines.
  • Coordinate graduate student recruitment activities, including producing promotional materials and delivering presentations.
  • Manage and track graduate financial support and funding packages, including preparing budgets and forecasts.
  • Support the Graduate Program Committee in the review and approval of graduate program requirements for exceptional cases.
  • Generate reports and databases on graduate data, including enrolment models and cohort information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum four years administrative experience, preferably in a post-secondary education environment.
  • Experience providing program and/or course information to current and prospective students.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex financial data, preparing and managing budgets and/or award funding forecasts.
  • Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), and website content management systems.
  • Intermediate skills with ROSI or other similar enterprise database solutions/CMS systems.
  • Ability to analyze quantitative data, perform problem analyses, and make recommendations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills, ability to understand complex information and policies, and successfully translate them to students and faculty.
