Supply Chain Coordinator

Wage: $28.39/hr

Key Responsibilities:

As a Supply Chain Coordinator , you will play a vital role in enhancing the efficiency of our supply chain operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Overseeing and coordinating materials handling processes, including shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing materials, parts, and products.
  • Planning and managing purchasing activities, including quoting, processing transactions, and scheduling transportation.
  • Ensuring adherence to safety and security policies, procedures, and regulations in all supply chain operations.
  • Identifying and resolving supply chain-related issues while implementing corrective actions and process enhancements.
  • Utilizing the ERP system to document and plan all supply chain and material handling tasks.
  • Assisting the Production team with inventory management, including transfers and adjustments.
  • Supporting cyclical inventory counts and organizational initiatives like 6S systems.
  • Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments globally, including the preparation of necessary customs documentation.
  • Collaborating with the accounting department for cost reconciliation.
  • Maintaining comprehensive process documentation for purchasing, logistics, and inventory management.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain operations, encompassing purchasing, logistics, or inventory management.
  • A post-secondary degree in purchasing, supply chain management, operations, business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with the Netsuite ERP system.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of executing tasks flawlessly.
  • A proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to inspire and collaborate effectively with team members.

Preferred Qualifications:

Candidates with the following will be given preference:

  • Fluency in Cantonese or Mandarin for effective communication with suppliers.
  • ASCM certifications in Procurement or Warehousing.
  • Hands-on experience in hardware or electrical assembly.
  • A passion for underwater exploration and robotics.
