About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Specialist to join our team at Nasarc Technologies, Inc. as a key member of our procurement and logistics team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchasing and Procurement: Purchase general and specialized equipment, materials, or business services from suppliers, negotiating offers and reviewing quotations to ensure the best value for the company.
  • Contract Management: Determine contract terms and conditions, establish delivery schedules, and monitor progress to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Supplier Management: Consult with suppliers, negotiate offers, and resolve any issues that may arise during the procurement process.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the management of inventory levels, ensuring that stock is maintained at optimal levels to meet business needs.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Coordinate the transportation of goods and materials, ensuring that they are delivered to the correct location on time.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure that all parties are informed and up-to-date on procurement and logistics activities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or international business environment.
  • Skills: Excellent negotiation and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Certifications: Membership in the Supply Chain Management Association of Canada.
