Key Responsibilities:
As a Supply Chain Coordinator , you will play a vital role in supporting the comprehensive supply chain functions at Voyis. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing, coordinating, and evaluating materials handling processes, including shipping, receiving, storage, distribution, and inventory management.
- Planning and managing purchasing activities for the company, including quoting, processing transactions, and scheduling transportation.
- Ensuring adherence to safety and security policies, procedures, standards, and regulations throughout all supply chain operations.
- Addressing various supply chain challenges and implementing corrective actions and process enhancements.
- Utilizing the ERP system to plan and document all supply chain and material handling activities.
- Assisting the Production team with inventory oversight, transfers, and adjustments.
- Supporting cyclical inventory counts and organizational initiatives such as 6S systems.
- Coordinating inbound and outbound shipments globally, including preparing necessary customs documentation.
- Collaborating with accounting for cost reconciliation.
- Maintaining comprehensive process documentation for purchasing, logistics, and inventory management.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain operations, encompassing purchasing, logistics, or inventory management.
- Post-secondary education in purchasing, supply chain management, operations, business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with the Netsuite ERP system.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a proven track record of executing tasks flawlessly.
- A proactive attitude with a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguous situations.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate, support, and collaborate effectively with team members.
Preferred Qualifications:
Candidates with the following will be given preference:
- Proficiency in Cantonese or Mandarin for effective communication with suppliers.
- ASCM certifications in Procurement or Warehousing.
- Hands-on experience in hardware or electrical assembly.
- A passion for underwater exploration and robotics.
