We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Director of Supply Chain to join our team at Distech Controls, a leading provider of intelligent building solutions.

In this pivotal role, you will shape the strategic direction of our supply chain, driving operational excellence and ensuring seamless delivery of cutting-edge products. You will lead a high-performing team, fostering collaboration and innovation across all facets of the supply chain.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy aligned with Acuity Brands' business objectives, encompassing sourcing, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and inventory management.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to optimize supply chain processes, reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and evaluate new technologies and best practices to drive digital transformation within the supply chain, leveraging data analytics and automation.
  • Manage relationships with key suppliers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality materials and components.
  • Develop and implement robust risk management strategies to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving innovation and operational excellence within the team.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in supply chain management roles, with demonstrated success in strategic sourcing, integrated business planning, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in the electronics industry is highly desirable.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to lead and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Bilingual French and English fluency is required.
