About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Claims Specialist to join our team at Metro Supply Chain. As a Claims Specialist, you will play a critical role in collecting complaints and claims, goods and/or property, and working closely with our customers to resolve issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and analyze damages and interests to ensure fair and timely resolutions.
- Respond to customer inquiries and provide clear, concise information within the scope of your knowledge.
- Listen, analyze, and diagnose the nature of customer problems to provide effective solutions.
- Support and take responsibility for resolving customer issues at the first point of contact within your role.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through thoroughness in clerical manual tasks and a commitment to maintaining harmonious relationships with customers and the internal team.
- Utilize problem-solving skills to resolve practical problems using tangible variables in situations where current standards are limited.
Requirements
- Experience in the insurance industry, specifically in complaints and claims.
- Claims assessment and customer service skills.
- Ability to argue and reason in litigation.
