**Job Summary**

The Procurement and Planning Manager plays a crucial role in the operational success of our company by ensuring effective supply management and production planning. This position involves overseeing all activities related to the supply of raw materials, finished products, and services necessary for the proper functioning of the company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Management:
    • Develop and implement international procurement strategies to optimize costs and meet deadlines.
    • Control stock levels and optimize inventories to ensure product availability.
  • Production Planning:
    • Develop production plans based on sales and production capacities to meet customer demands.
    • Coordinate with production, logistics, and customer service departments to ensure product availability and quality.
  • Inventory Management:
    • Monitor stock levels to avoid stock-outs and surpluses, ensuring just-in-time delivery.
    • Implement performance indicators to evaluate the effectiveness of inventory management processes.
    • Analyze data to anticipate needs and adjust inventory levels to optimize costs.
  • Continuous Improvement and Standardization:
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement and planning processes.
    • Standardize business processes across all business entities to ensure consistency and efficiency.
    • Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve issues and improve performance.
  • Team Management:
    • Supervise and support the procurement and planning team to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
    • Set clear goals and measure team performance to drive results.
Requirements
  • Education:
    • Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Production Management, or related field.
  • Experience:
    • Significant work experience in a similar role, preferably in a production environment.
  • Skills:
    • Strong understanding of procurement processes and international supply chain management.
    • In-depth knowledge of production planning and inventory management techniques.
    • Proficient in ERP tools and supply chain management software.
  • Language:
    • Bilingual French and English.
