Employment and Social Development Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Vice President, Development. This position is responsible for leading the development of major departments and associated senior staff positions, as well as managing a team of 11-15 people.
Key Responsibilities:- Authorize and organize the establishment of major departments and associated senior staff positions.
- Select middle managers, directors, or other executive staff; delegate the necessary authority to them and create optimum working conditions.
- Manage a team of 11-15 people.
- 5 years or more of experience in a related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Excellent interpersonal and team player skills.
This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure. The successful candidate must be able to work effectively in a team and have excellent interpersonal skills.
