Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Executive Risk Management Leader to join our team at TD Bank. As a key member of our risk management team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing our fraud risk framework, policy, and standards to ensure a consistent and appropriate bar across the bank.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead Fraud Risk Governance: Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud risk governance framework that aligns with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  2. Manage Risk Framework: Own, manage, and evolve the fraud risk framework, policy, and standards to ensure they are up-to-date and effective in managing fraud risk.
  3. Meet Regulatory Requirements: Ensure that our fraud risk management practices meet regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  4. Develop Strategic Objectives: Develop and execute strategic objectives for fraud risk management that align with the bank's overall risk management strategy.
  5. Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate with stakeholders across the bank to ensure that fraud risk management practices are integrated into business operations.
  6. Communicate Risk Profile: Effectively communicate the bank's fraud risk profile to senior management and other stakeholders.
  7. Monitor Adherence: Oversee and monitor adherence to fraud risk policies and procedures.
  8. Drive Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in fraud risk management practices through regular reviews and assessments.
Requirements
  1. Education: Undergraduate degree in a relevant field.
  2. Experience: 15+ years of experience in risk management, with a focus on fraud risk.
  3. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly present complex information to senior management and other stakeholders.
  4. Leadership: Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence others and drive change.
  5. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to fraud risk management.
  6. Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand the bank's business operations and risk management practices.
