We are looking for a Strategic Partnerships Manager who will play a pivotal role in identifying and cultivating business opportunities. This position involves Building and Sustaining Relationships, Driving Sales and Revenue, Negotiating Contracts, and Expanding Market Reach. Your efforts will significantly contribute to our mission of empowering women, particularly immigrants and BIWoC, to secure meaningful employment and advance their careers.


Role Summary:

The Strategic Partnerships Manager (SPM) is tasked with identifying, developing, and executing strategic business initiatives that align with the company's growth objectives. The SPM will be instrumental in driving sales, enhancing the company's market presence, and forging robust relationships with both new and existing clients. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of strategic insight, sales acumen, and exceptional interpersonal skills to meet business objectives and drive revenue growth.

  • Conduct research to uncover new business prospects, including emerging markets, growth sectors, trends, clientele, partnerships, products, and services.
  • Formulate and execute business development strategies that are in line with the company's long-term vision.
  • Lead initiatives to generate new sales leads, actively pursuing and finalizing business agreements that align with company goals.
  • Meet or surpass sales targets and contribute to overall revenue enhancement.
  • Oversee the sales pipeline, monitoring progress towards sales objectives and reporting on outcomes.
  • Perform market analysis to comprehend industry trends, competitive landscapes, and customer requirements.
  • Leverage data-driven insights to guide business strategies and pinpoint opportunities for market growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Continuously explore avenues to enhance the effectiveness of business development strategies and processes.
  • Remain informed about industry best practices and innovative methodologies in business development.
  • Lead negotiations with clients and partners to secure advantageous terms and agreements.
  • Draft, review, and manage contracts, ensuring adherence to company policies and legal standards.
  • Effectively close deals, ensuring alignment with the company's financial and strategic objectives.
  • Collaborate closely with other departments such as Marketing, Product Development, and Operations to ensure coherence of business development activities with overall company goals.
  • Provide insights to internal teams regarding market trends, customer preferences, and product development opportunities.
  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market dynamics.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage sales activities and monitor progress against targets.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management, contributing to strategic decision-making.
  • Establish and maintain a robust professional network to support business development initiatives.
  • Stay updated on industry developments and emerging trends that could influence the business landscape.

  • Analytical Skills: Capability to analyze data, interpret trends, and make data-informed decisions to enhance business performance.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities to identify challenges and develop effective solutions.
  • CRM Experience: Familiarity with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to manage leads, track sales activities, and analyze customer data.
  • Digital Proficiency: Knowledge of digital marketing tools, data analytics platforms, and other software that support business development efforts.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the industry in which the company operates, including awareness of trends, competitors, and regulatory considerations.


Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Finance, or a related field is typically required.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, marketing, or a related field is typically required.
  • Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage sales activities, track progress, and analyze data (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Ability to analyze market trends, identify business opportunities, and develop strategies to enter new markets or expand within existing ones.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate business performance and make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in multiple languages can be an advantage, especially for roles involving international business development.
