Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Partnerships Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our business development team, you will play a crucial role in identifying, evaluating, and establishing strategic partnerships that align with our business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conference Prospecting:
    • Research and identify relevant conferences and events that align with our business objectives.
    • Evaluate the potential impact and ROI of attending or participating in specific events.
    • Maintain a calendar of upcoming conferences and submission deadlines.
    • Pitch for speaker opportunities 6-8 months in advance.
  • Outreach:
    • Develop and execute outreach strategies to initiate contact with potential partners and stakeholders.
    • Customize outreach messages to effectively communicate our value proposition.
    • Utilize various channels to engage with prospects.
  • Drafting Follow-Ups:
    • Prepare and send follow-up emails and messages after initial outreach or meetings.
    • Ensure timely follow-ups to maintain engagement and move conversations forward.
    • Track and manage follow-up schedules and outcomes.
  • Call Coordination:
    • Schedule and coordinate calls and meetings with potential partners.
    • Prepare agendas and materials for calls, ensuring all participants are informed and prepared.
    • Take detailed notes during calls and distribute summaries/action items afterward.
  • Outbound Sales:
    • Identify and qualify new business opportunities through research and outreach.
    • Develop and maintain a pipeline of potential partnerships and sales leads.
    • Work towards meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
  • Materials Development:
    • Create and update sales and partnership materials, including presentations, brochures, and proposals.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistency in messaging and branding.
    • Tailor materials to specific audiences and opportunities.
  • Initiative and Problem-Solving:
    • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement in outreach and sales processes.
    • Develop and implement solutions to overcome challenges and optimize efficiency.
    • Demonstrate initiative by taking on new projects and responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
  • Experience: 1-5 years of post-undergrad experience in a related field.
  • Leadership: Proven leadership experience, such as running a club or organization during school or in a recent role.
  • Skills: Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Attributes: Self-starter, thoughtful, and solution-oriented.
  • Tools: Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office, AI, and other relevant business tools.
