Position: Senior Director and Group Lead, Commercial Banking Distribution
The Senior Director and Group Lead for Commercial Distribution is tasked with overseeing a mid-market (and/or core) team that plays a crucial role in the success of the Commercial Banking division. This position is pivotal in achieving financial targets related to the profitable expansion and retention of the assigned portfolio of Commercial clients. A deep understanding of client and business dynamics, local market trends, and the ability to craft strategies that enhance relationships by leveraging internal resources to deliver comprehensive solutions for our clients is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team focused on Mid-Market (and/or Core segments) while managing activities of varying complexity based on segment needs.
- Drive business growth and develop talent within the team.
- Utilize expert sales management, relationship-building, and leadership skills to influence and inspire team members.
- Set a positive example of change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of Canada's financial services landscape, including key industries and competitive positioning.
- Exhibit strong tactical planning and management skills to implement effective strategies.
- Exercise independent judgment in sales management activities while adhering to approved budgets and policies.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following skills:
- Extensive experience in commercial banking.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles.
