About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Engineering Manager / Project Manager to join our team at Stantec Consulting International Ltd. This is a dynamic opportunity to lead and manage transportation planning and traffic engineering projects in Atlantic Canada.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage transportation engineering projects, ensuring timely completion and meeting performance targets.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring high-quality management and technical services are delivered to clients.
  • Develop and implement transportation planning projects and traffic engineering scope, working closely with other design disciplines and staff.
  • Prepare and present technical reports, exhibits, and graphics to internal and external stakeholders, including clients and industry peers.
  • Lead business development efforts, including proposal development, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Maintain existing client relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior and intermediate staff, ensuring quality control and support.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Planning, or related field with a P.Eng. or RPP certification.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in traffic design and transportation planning in the consulting or public sectors.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and experience with transportation software and methods.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and team members.
