About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Flatbed Truck Driver to join our team at Ready Go Transport Inc. As a Flatbed Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Oversee the condition of the vehicle, inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment to ensure it is in good working order.
  • Transportation: Load and unload goods, transport and handle dangerous goods, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
  • Communication: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, operate GPS and other navigation equipment, and maintain accurate records of cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of accident or incident reports, dangerous goods occurrence reports, driver logbook, inspection reports, maintenance and repair reports, and trip reports.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and sit for extended periods.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent oral communication, flexibility, judgment, reliability, and teamwork skills.
