Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation and Logistics
    • Operate a flatbed truck to transport goods across various routes, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
    • Conduct pre-trip, on-route, and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle condition and cargo security.
    • Load and unload merchandise, using proper lifting techniques to avoid injury.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional manner.
    • Communicate with central dispatch to receive updates on delivery schedules and any changes to the route.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure, oil levels, and brakes.
    • Conduct brake adjustments and execute roadside repairs in emergency situations.
  • Documentation and Reporting
    • Accurately document cargo details, service hours, distance covered, and fuel usage.
    • Complete accident or incident reports, as well as reports on hazardous material incidents.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications
    • High school graduation certificate.
    • AZ class driver's license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Experience and Skills
    • 1-7 months of experience in flatbed trucking or a related field.
    • Strong verbal communication skills and adaptability.
    • Ability to handle over 45 kg (100 lbs) and work in physically demanding conditions.

    • Sound judgment and ability to work independently.
