Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team at 2262078 ONTARIO INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our truck drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate the activities of our truck drivers, including scheduling, route planning, and dispatching.
  • Monitor and Control the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely delivery and efficient use of resources.
  • Train and Develop our truck drivers to improve their skills and knowledge, and to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage and Coordinate repairs and maintenance of our fleet of vehicles, including scheduling and tracking of maintenance activities.
  • Coordinate and Schedule activities with other departments, including dispatch, customer service, and accounting.
  • Recommend and Implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role, preferably in the transportation or logistics industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Work under pressure, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering results.
  • Personal Qualities: Flexibility, organized, and a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Work Setting: Supervision of truck drivers and logistics operations.
