Job Summary

Oyster Freight Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining a high level of professionalism in customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, operating and driving straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Load and unload goods, overseeing the condition of the vehicle and inspecting tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, ensuring all aspects of the vehicle are in good working condition.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, recording cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements
  • AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Basic security clearance and a valid driver's license.
  • Ability to drive manual transmission vehicles and willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and for extended periods.
Work Environment

As a Truck Driver with Oyster Freight Services Inc., you will be working in a fast-paced environment with various locations and routes. You will be required to work overtime and handle heavy loads, with a focus on attention to detail and teamwork.
