Job Summary

Oyster Freight Services Inc. is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently across various locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive as part of a two-person team or convoy, ensuring professionalism in customer service and adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Load and unload goods, operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, and oversee the condition of the vehicle.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, as well as oversee all aspects of the vehicle, including tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch, record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption, and ensure the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements
  • AZ class license, Air Brakes Endorsement, and a valid Driver's License (Class 1 or A).
  • Experience with dry bulk, flatbed, refrigerated, and tractor-trailer trucks, as well as GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to travel cross-border, internationally, and for extended periods, with a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
