The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Analyst to join our team at our St. Laurent lab in Ottawa. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytical chemistry and laboratory techniques, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform analyses according to established in-house protocols and quality control procedures.
  • Prepare lab standards and reagents for routine and research-related analyses.
  • Conduct quality control checks and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist in data collation and tabulation.
  • Monitor and requisition supplies as needed.
  • Comply with company QA/QC and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry) or equivalent.
  • Less than 1 year of related experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to follow and interpret work instructions and procedures.
  • High degree of manual dexterity.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proven computer skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel).
