Paracel Laboratories Ltd. is a full-service environmental and Indoor Air Quality laboratory with facilities in Ottawa, Hamilton, Mississauga, and other locations. We support a broad spectrum of projects for professional clients across Canada and around the world.

The Junior Analyst will be responsible for performing analyses within a discrete section of the Laboratory, including sample preparations, standards/reagent preparation, and assistance on research projects under the direct supervision of the Department Supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform analyses according to established in-house protocols.
  • Prepare lab standards and reagents for routine and research-related analyses.
  • Perform analysis QC and maintain a clean workspace.
  • Assist in collating and tabulating data.
  • Monitor and requisition supplies as required.
  • Comply with company QA/QC and Health & Safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent with less than 1 year of related experience.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to effectively follow/interpret work instructions, methods, and procedures.
  • High degree of manual dexterity.
  • Highly reliable and deadline-driven.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Proven computer skills, including MS Office (Word and Excel).
