Event Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Infinity Convention Center.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist in preparing financial reports and manage contracts for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing, and other technical services.
- Promote conference and meeting services or special events, and develop marketing and communication plans to increase attendance.
- Co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities, attend to related details, and plan for social events and guest programs.
- Supervise office and volunteer staff, and determine requirements for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing, and other technical services.
- Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services, and research and design special events programs.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in event planning or a related field.
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- More than 20 people supervised.
- Contractors and staff in various areas of responsibility.
