Event Planning Specialist

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Event Coordinator to join our team at Infinity Convention Center. As an Event Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and executing various events, conferences, and meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Event Planning: Assist in preparing financial reports, promote conference and meeting services, and develop marketing and communication plans.
- Logistics: Determine requirements for hospitality services, signage, multi-media equipment, printing, and other technical services, and arrange for and manage contracts for these services.
- Coordination: Co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities, attend to related details, and co-ordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events.
- Accommodations and Transportation: Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services.
- Research and Design: Research and design special events programs.
- Supervision: Supervise office and volunteer staff.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
- Number of Participants: 1 day or less, 2-4 days, Over 400 participants.
