Your Role:
The selected candidate will report to the Assistant Director of Employer Relations and Marketing, playing a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to employers. You will be responsible for understanding industry trends and providing insights on early talent recruitment strategies tailored to specific sectors. Your efforts will contribute to the development of events and programs that connect students with potential employers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and strategic partners.
  • Identify and engage with potential and existing employers to enhance recruitment efforts.
  • Stay informed about best practices in student placement and work-integrated learning.
  • Plan, organize, and execute various events aimed at connecting students with industry.
  • Deliver presentations to promote sponsorship opportunities and partnerships.
  • Maintain accurate records within our database systems.
  • Conduct research and analysis on labor market trends to inform programming decisions.
  • Stay updated on equity, diversity, and inclusion theories to enhance engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
  • A university degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in sales or relationship management, with a focus on event planning and execution.
  • Understanding of employment trends and recruitment processes within the university context.
  • Experience in organizing large-scale events and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Experience in assessing learning outcomes for events and initiatives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and experience working with a diverse range of individuals.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
