Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and nurturing relationships with key industry stakeholders and partners.
  • Identifying and engaging with potential employers to create opportunities for student placements.
  • Staying informed about industry trends and best practices in student employment and work-integrated learning.
  • Planning, organizing, and executing events that connect students with employers.
  • Delivering presentations to promote sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Maintaining accurate records in our database to track employer interactions.
  • Conducting research on labor market trends to inform program development.
  • Understanding and advocating for equity, diversity, and inclusion in all initiatives.
Qualifications:
  • A university degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in sales, relationship management, or event coordination.
  • Familiarity with employment trends and the recruitment processes of employers.
  • Experience in organizing large-scale events and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong research skills related to employer engagement.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
