Your Role:

In this position, you will report to the Assistant Director of Employer Relations and Marketing. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional service to employers, ensuring their recruitment needs are met while promoting UTM students. You will analyze industry trends and act as a knowledgeable resource for early talent acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders and employers.
  • Identify and engage potential employers to create internship and job opportunities for students.
  • Stay informed on best practices for student placements and work-integrated learning.
  • Plan and execute various career-related events, including fairs and networking sessions.
  • Present proposals to attract sponsorship and partnership opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate records in our database and conduct market research to inform programming.
  • Promote equity, diversity, and inclusion within all initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • A university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in relationship management or event coordination.
  • Strong understanding of employment trends and university student career development.
  • Experience in organizing large-scale events and managing diverse stakeholder relationships.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
