We are currently looking for Privacy Lawyers to collaborate with a diverse range of clients, including Fortune 100 to Fortune 500 companies across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering legal counsel on privacy compliance obligations and identifying opportunities to enhance privacy policies.
- Revising privacy policies, negotiating and drafting master service agreements in line with international privacy standards, and assisting in the creation of guidelines, training, and tools to promote privacy accountability and compliance.
- Engaging directly with business clients, offering guidance and practical solutions for a variety of corporate policies.
Essential Qualifications:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience with outstanding academic and law firm credentials; in-house experience is advantageous.
- Active membership in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario.
- Comprehensive knowledge of data protection and privacy law, including Canadian, U.S., and EU privacy regulations such as GDPR, PIPEDA, and the Privacy Act.
- Experience in providing regulatory and policy guidance in data protection, privacy law, and related fields of information law.
Compensation, Benefits & Work Environment:
