Job Title: Assistant Chief Counsel

Intuit Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Chief Counsel to join our team. As a key member of our legal department, you will play a critical role in advising and counseling on a wide range of matters, including AI/ML, consumer protection, data privacy and protection, mobile, intellectual property, policy, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide expert legal advice and counseling to product management, business strategy, engineering, content design, marketing, security, compliance, and operations teams.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and innovation while ensuring legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and developments in AI/ML, data privacy, and other areas of law.
  • Communicate complex legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders and provide clear guidance on regulatory obligations and risk management.
  • Lead and participate in projects to drive strategic thinking and execution.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior executive leaders and other stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Significant breadth of knowledge in consumer protection, AI/ML, advertising and marketing laws, financial services, data privacy and protection, IP, mobile and cloud computing, and competition law.
  • Ability to navigate uncharted areas and balance risk and opportunity.
  • Excellent communication, teaching, and training skills.
  • Ability to interact with and lead change with senior executive leaders.
  • Experience providing legal support on a global scale.
