Indigenous Peoples Relations Manager

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Manager to join our team and support the development and implementation of strategies to promote Indigenous Peoples' inclusion and representation within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Investigate and finalize medium/high risk cases related to Indigenous Peoples' employment, ensuring compliance with governing regulations, Bank policies, and processes.
- Act as a subject matter expert and provide value-added advice and coaching on employment-related issues to employees, People Managers, and HR Business Partners.
- Conduct formal investigations into allegations of serious misconduct, collaborating with the Employment Law Group and Corporate Security as needed.
- Lead employee interviews, analyzing facts and presenting findings and recommendations to Senior Leadership to mitigate legal risk to the Bank.
- Work with HR Business Partners to plan the end-to-end delivery of strategic initiatives, identifying trends and providing insights to Senior Leadership and HR Business Partners.
- Promote and support a seamless and consistent experience for employees and People Managers with ER/LR issues and concerns.
- Relationship-focused, highly collaborative, and results-oriented.
- Ability to pivot with ease between priorities.

- Interviewing and/or consultative background would be a strong asset.
