Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team at Sensei Lanai. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising the day-to-day running of the Resort's kitchen, managing food costs, production control, reducing wastage, and providing culinary training for all culinary employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient and effective food production
  • Manage food costs and production control to minimize waste and optimize profitability
  • Develop and implement culinary training programs for kitchen staff
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to create menus and ensure high-quality food standards
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and food safety standards
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Four to six years of operational kitchen experience with a diversity of culinary experience
  • Proven track record in fine dining and supervisory experience
  • Culinary qualifications and a strong work ethic
  • Valid work authorization for the U.S.
