About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef to join our team at 21 Steps kitchen + bar. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Execution: Develop and implement menus that showcase our culinary expertise and meet the tastes and preferences of our customers.
  • Chef Management: Supervise and train a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the ordering and inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet our culinary needs.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Cost Control: Manage food costs and labor expenses to ensure that we are operating within our budget.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required, but a strong culinary education and training are essential.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience as a head cook or executive chef in a high-volume kitchen is required.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
