Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Wonderland Child Care Center. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the center, ensuring the delivery of high-quality childcare services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management
    • Develop and implement organizational policies and programs to achieve the center's goals and objectives.
    • Co-ordinate the work of regions, divisions, or departments to ensure efficient and effective operations.
    • Establish clear objectives and expectations for staff, and provide guidance and support to ensure their success.
  • Resource Allocation
    • Allocate material, human, and financial resources to support the center's operations and achieve its goals.
    • Develop and manage budgets to ensure the center's financial stability and growth.
  • Communication and Collaboration
    • Develop and maintain effective relationships with staff, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure the center's reputation and success.
    • Communicate clearly and effectively with staff, parents, and external stakeholders to ensure that everyone is informed and engaged.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Develop and implement quality assurance processes to ensure that the center meets the highest standards of childcare and education.
    • Monitor and evaluate the center's performance to identify areas for improvement and implement changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a senior administrative role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Working Conditions

The General Manager will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality childcare services to our clients. The successful candidate will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week, with flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Language

The official language of the center is English.
