Job Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting functions, including:

  • Preparation and reporting of monthly HST
  • Management of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable
  • Reviewing monthly rental charges and generating PAD files
  • Ensuring accurate chargebacks, including utilities, to tenants
  • Bank statement reconciliation, mortgage management, and monthly journal entries
  • Maintaining the General Ledger and working paper files for all properties
  • Compiling monthly and annual property reporting packages, including variance and shortfall analyses
  • Annual preparation and processing of Tenant CAM/TAX recovery reconciliations
  • Year-end audit preparation and collaboration with auditors
  • Development of annual budgets and forecasts for properties, along with supporting schedules and variance analyses
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Expertise in full cycle property accounting
  • CPA designation
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in comprehensive Real Estate or Condo Property accounting
  • Exceptional communication skills, with fluency in Chinese (Mandarin)

Licensing

A Chartered Professional Accountant license is required for this position.
