Director of Global Treasury Operations

As the Director of Global Treasury Operations, you will oversee the Treasury department, ensuring effective liquidity management and debt reduction strategies. Your role will involve executing financing and treasury closing processes associated with acquisitions. You will generate banking position reports, assess restrictive clauses, and supervise debt repayments, including interest and dividends. Furthermore, you will be tasked with preparing monthly and quarterly internal reports on treasury functions, focusing on the analysis of borrowings, liquidity, and financing activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop short- and long-term cash flow projections, encompassing currency positions, borrowing requirements, and available investment resources ;
- Prepare accounting and tax provisions ;
- Introduce innovative technologies, banking products, or services to enhance the treasury cycle process ;
- Establish controls, policies, and internal procedures that support treasury operations ;
- Cultivate relationships with banking and financial institutions ;
- Negotiate banking fees and service charges with financial institutions ;
- Manage essential compliance obligations (i.e., restrictive clauses, debt securities payments, guarantee requirements) ;
- Identify risks and recommend strategies to mitigate currency and interest rate exposure.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- CFA Certification ;
- 5 to 10 years of experience in a comparable role within an organization with diverse business units ;
- Capacity to manage rapid growth, both organically and through acquisitions ;
- Ability to collaborate with international management teams and external partners to oversee currency exposures at the enterprise level ;
- Proficiency in currency transactions and internal exposures associated with global enterprises ;
- Knowledge of regulations and standards pertaining to derivatives and hedging, with the capability to conduct complex analyses and modeling ;
- Familiarity with integrated management software similar to Sage 300 and treasury software such as Kyriba and others ;
- Exceptional communication skills (oral and written) in both French and English ;
- This position requires interaction with clients and internal and external partners on a national and global scale; therefore, professional proficiency in English is essential.
