Position Overview

Reporting directly to the Director of Treasury, the Treasury Senior Analyst will play a pivotal role in overseeing Gildan's daily treasury and cash management functions. This position will actively contribute to the department's growth across various platforms and assist in preparing a range of corporate finance analyses and reports related to treasury operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer Gildan's Treasury Management System, Kyriba, along with other financial software, ensuring data integrity, system updates, and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Collaborate with different departments to enhance working capital management and improve forecasting processes, including the expansion of supply chain financing and the implementation of a global credit card program.
  • Identify opportunities for efficiency improvements in treasury processes and support the execution of best practices and automation initiatives.
  • Execute foreign exchange trades and assist with related matters.
  • Monitor and report on global bank fees monthly.
  • Streamline workflows across various treasury tasks.
  • Support process enhancement projects.
  • Assist in enforcing departmental policies and internal controls.
  • Prepare reports for Financial Risk Management meetings, including monthly mark-to-market assessments and quarterly Board materials, along with other ad hoc reporting requirements.
  • Facilitate the creation of letters of credit.
  • Assist in bank fee analysis and online banking management.
  • Report on monthly key performance indicators (KPIs).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline.
  • Professional designation (CPA, CFA, CTP) is a plus.
  • Experience with Kyriba is advantageous.
  • 5-7 years of experience in corporate treasury and/or corporate finance.
  • Strong financial modeling capabilities and business system knowledge.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Enjoyment of collaborative work environments.
  • Detail-oriented, structured, and organized approach.
  • Experience in large corporations or multinational settings is beneficial.
  • Proficient communication skills in both English and French (Spanish is an asset).
  • This role requires proficiency in a language other than French to support customers and markets outside of Quebec.
