With a foundation in Canada, Gildan operates approximately 30 facilities across 12 countries and distributes products in over 60 markets globally, achieving sales of $3 billion.
Position Summary: Reporting directly to the Director of Treasury, the Senior Analyst in Treasury will play a crucial role in overseeing Gildan's daily treasury and cash management functions.
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing various ad hoc analyses and reports related to treasury operations. This position requires the use of financial software to monitor the organization's financial stability and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer Gildan's Treasury Management System, Kyriba, and other financial applications, ensuring data integrity, system updates, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with different departments to enhance working capital management and improve forecasting processes, including the expansion of supply chain financing and the implementation of a global credit card program.
- Identify opportunities for increased efficiency within treasury processes and support the execution of improvements, including best practices and automation initiatives.
- Assist in process improvement projects and uphold departmental policies and internal controls.
- Support the preparation of reports for Financial Risk Management meetings, monthly mark-to-market evaluations, quarterly Board presentations, and other reporting requirements.
- Conduct bank fee analysis and manage online banking operations.
Qualifications:
- A university degree in finance or a related discipline.
- Professional designations such as CPA, CFA, or CTP are considered advantageous.
- 5-7 years of experience in corporate treasury or corporate finance.
- Experience in a large corporation or multinational environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills in both English and French; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
- This role requires proficiency in a language other than French to support diverse customer and market needs.
